Outsourcing and asset management company MITIE has picked computing company Salesforce.com’s Sales Cloud as its primary customer relationship management tool to track sales opportunities across the group.
“Due to the diversity of our business we needed a CRM solution that is transparent and will allow our teams to work together seamlessly,” explained Neil Smith, CRM manager at MITIE.
Prior to deploying Salesforce CRM, MITIE used separate contact management systems which were fragmented and lacked compatibility.
“Its ease of use was one of the key reasons for choosing Salesforce CRM. The interface is very similar to the consumer web-based platforms our people use in their everyday lives so training is made much easier. This allowed us to hit the ground running and start seeing immediate value,” added Smith.
In 2010 MITIE will complete the rollout of Salesforce CRM, which is live in its facilities and property management divisions, by bringing its asset management division online, providing full integration across the group.
