Winners of the B2B Marketing 2019 Martech Awards revealed

The first-ever winners of B2B Marketing’s Martech Awards have been revealed.

Stein IAS

who led in the nominations stage

went home with the most awards. The B2B agency was victorious in three categories including ‘Martech team of the year’ with Nuix, ‘Best use of demand generation’ with HSBC and ‘Martech visionary of the year’ – won by Marc Keating chief innovation officer of Stein IAS.

Also on the evening, which followed Get Stacked – The B2B Marketing Technology Conference, Marketo was named best marketing automation vendor, while Kulea.ma took home the prize for emerging vendor of year.

Client-side companies also saw success on the night

Iron Mountain was recognised for its use of martech at live events, while O2 was declared a winner for its martech transformation over the past 12 months.

Client-side marketers also received individual awards. Marco Maccio, head of digital marketing at Marshalls. was named ‘Inhouse marketing technologist of the year’. Christine Aletras, associate marketing manager, B2B at WW Health Solutions was also highly commended in the industry.

Joel Harrison, editor-in-chief at B2B Marketing who hosted the ceremony, congratulated all those nominated.

“This is the first year the Martech Awards has taken place and we have been delighted with the standard of entrants,” he said. “B2B martech is expanding so quickly, it was only right we shone a light on those at the top of their game in this fast-paced and challenging industry. Congratulations to all those that have been recognised by the judges.”

  • Highly commended: Force24


Inhouse marketing technologist of the year

  • Winner: Marco Maccio, head of digital marketing, Marshalls
  • Highly commended: Christine Aletras, associate marketing manager, B2B, WW Health Solutions


Martech team of the year

  • Winner: Nuix by Stein IAS
  • Highly commended: Trelleborg by Stein IAS


Martech agency of the year

  • Winner: JTF Marketing


Martech consultancy or integrator of the year

  • Winner: CleverTouch
  • Highly commended: Stein IAS


Martech visionary of the year

  • Winner: Marc Keating, chief innovation officer, Stein IAS
  • Highly commended: Richard Hepworth, business unit president, Trelleborg
