    WPP acquires majority stake in Acceleration

    WPP Digital has acquired a majority stake in marketing technology group Acceleration.

    The deal sees WPP take control of Acceleration Holdings Group in Guernsey and Acceleration eMarketing in South Africa.

    This continues WPP’s recent focus on acquiring digital properties, as it seeks to increase the percentage of its profit derived from digital platforms.
